Hauke was invited to talk about „Internally consistent elasticity measurements of FIB-prepared single-crystals at high-pressures and high-temperatures by Brillouin spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction“ at the workshop of the International Union for Crystallography (IUCr) which took place at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) from September 12th-15th.

Julia Immoor joins the GeoMaX team as a new PhD student. Julia received a Master’s degree from the University of Kiel and will work on the high-pressure high-temperature deformation of lower mantle phases using synchrotron-based methods.
